... is a German philosopher and poet. He became the new editor of The Transnational in February 2017. As a PhD student at Bamberg University and as a member of "Gesellschaft für kritische Philosophie Nürnberg" his main research is the philosophy of Hellenism, especially Seneca, and other philosophers like Nietzsche or Wittgenstein. He also investigates the theory of lyric writing.
Sarah Katharina Kayß (prev. Editor)
... has studied History, Comparative Religion and British Empire History in the UK and Germany. She holds a PhD in War Studies from King's College London. Sarah was the editor of the PostPoetry magazine until 2013 and has been responsible for the editorship of The Transnational between 2014 and 2017. She has won the manuscript award of the Literaturwerk of the county of Rhineland-Palatinate and the German Writers Association (2013) for her poetry and essay volume "Ich mag die Welt, so wie sie ist" which was published by Allitera in Munich in 2014. At the moment she focuces on the art of painting and photography.
